Tässä pieni esittely hallituksen jäsenistä ja edustajiston puheenjohtajistosta.
Here’s a little presentation about the Board members and the chairmen of the Council of representatives.

1. Emma Kokkonen
Born in Espoo, moved from there to Kerava, and now I’ve just moved to Hämeenlinna after spending 2,5 years in Forssa. I study Sustainable Development.
3. Tänä vuonna toimin hallituksen puheenjohtajana.
I work as a President of the Board this year.
4. Odotan vuodelta itsevarmuuteni kehittymistä ja varmuutta muutenkin omaan työskentelyyni ja esiintymiseeni. Nyt jo ensimmäisen kuukauden aikana olen joutunut poistumaan omalta mukavuusalueeltani, mutta on ihanaa huomata selviäväni. Ja unohtumattomia kokemuksia, se on varma!
I’m expecting to develop my self-confidence and to be more confident in my work and performance. I’ve gotten out of my comfort zone already in the first month, but now it’s amazing to know I’ll survive. I also expect unforgettable experiences, that’s for sure!

1. Susanna "Sussu" Mallander
2. Asun Valkeakoskella ja opiskelen Visamäen kampuksella liiketaloutta toista vuotta.
I live in Valkeakoski and study Business Administration for second year in Visamäki campus.
3. Olen tänä vuonna hallituksen varapuheenjohtaja ja lisäksi vastaan opiskelijahyvinvoinnista.
I’m the Vice President of the Board this year and also responsible for student welfare.
4. Tulevalta vuodelta odotan paljon uusia ihmisiä ja kokemuksia, uusia töitä (joita niin innolla odotan), raskaita ja tiukkojakin hetkiä, uuden oppimista ja tekemistä, mahtavia reissuja ja maailman parasta seuraa.
I expect lots of new people and experiences, new tasks (which I very much anticipate), also tough moments, learning new things, awesome trips and the best company in the world.

I come from the centre of the world (Kuopio) and I study in Evo.

My areas of responsibility are communications and partner associations.

2. Olen alunperin kotoisin Tampereelta, mutta nykyään asun Hämeenlinnassa. Opiskelen toista vuotta liiketaloutta Visamäessä.
I’m from Tampere, but now I live in Hämeenlinna. I’m a second year Business Administration student in Visamäki.
3. Vastuualueeni ovat ohjaus ja orientaatio.
My areas of responsibility are counceling and orientation.
4. Odotan tältä vuodelta uuden oppimista ja uusia kokemuksia.

2. From Hämeenlinna. I study International Business in Valkeakoski.
3. My tasks are internationality, events and being a Harassment Officer.
4. Hopefully this year the students will enjoy more events and activities organized by the Student Union. We hope to serve the students in a better, efficient matter. One of the main wishes is to create an inspiring learning environment for students where innovation, inspiration and self-reinvetion is dominating.

2. Olen kotoisin Hämeenkyröstä, Pirkanmaalta. Hämeenlinnassa olen asustellut vuodesta 2012 lähtien. Opiskelen neljättä vuotta bio- ja elintarviketekniikkaa Visamäen kampuksella.
I come from Hämeenkyrö, Pirkanmaa. I have lived in Hämeenlinna since 2012. This is my fourth study year.
3. Omiin tehtäviin HAMKO:ssa kuuluu opiskelijapalautteesta vastaaminen. Toimin myös häirintäyhdyshenkilönä.
My task in HAMKO is the student feedback and I am also the harassment officer.
4. Odotan tulevalta vuodelta uusien ihmisten tapaamista. Toivon että opiskelijoiden ja korkeakoulun välinen viestiminen toimii. Vuoden aluksi olen tutustunut mm. rehtorikuulemisten palautteisiin, ja huomannut kehittämistoimien käynnistymisen, esimerkkinä tästä toimii opiskelijapalautteiden tuomisen näkyväksi intraan.
I will expected that this year I will meet new people. I hope that the communication between the students and the university of applied sciences will work. I have already get to know among other things a little bit about the feedback from the rector hearings. I have noticed how the development work has started when the student feedback can be seen on intra.
5. It's all about the journey not the outcome

2. Kotoisin Keski-Suomesta, Keuruulta. Maatilantyttö ja sitä alaa tälläkin hetkellä opiskelen Mustialassa, ammattinimike on Agrologi (AMK).
I’m from Central Finland, Keuruu. I’m a farm girl and currently studying Agricultural and Rural Industries in Mustiala.
3. HAMKOssa vuonna 2016 toimin tapahtuma- ja liikuntavastaavana. Suurimmat tapahtumat ovat Loppurysäys, Alkupamaus sekä vuosijuhlat, kun tänä vuonna HAMKO täyttää 20 vuotta.
In HAMKO I’ll be working as responsible for events and sports in 2016. The biggest events are Loppurysäys, Alkupamaus and the anniversary party, as HAMKO will turn 20 this year.
4. Tältä vuodelta toivon paljon uusia kokemuksia ja uusia ihmisiä ympäri Suomea, toisista opiskelijakunnista.
I expect lots of new experiences and new people all around Finland, from other student unions.
5. Motto mikä minua kuvaa voisi olla 'kyllä sen kestää jos on pakko'

2. I was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I lived there until 2013, when I was accepted to HAMK international degree program of Construction Engineering in Hämeenlinna.
3. In HAMKO, I am responsible for organization of sport events and labour market relations.
4. I hope that I will be able to do my best this year and maintain HAMKOs performance.
