Miksi hakea edustajistoon?

HAMKOn edustajistossa pääset opiskelijana vaikuttamaan omiin opintoihisi ja opiskelijakunnan poliittisiin päätöksiin. Edustajisto tarjoaa myös mahdollisuuden tutustua toisiin opiskelijoihin, viettää aikaa heidän kanssaan ja luoda suhteita myös opiskelijakunnan ulkopuolelle. Ennen kaikkea edustajiston tarkoituksena on valvoa HAMKin opiskelijoiden etua, minkä takia päätöksentekoon tahdotaan opiskelijoita monista eri taustoista.

 

HAMKOn edustajistoon haetaan edustajistovaalien kautta tulevana syksynä. Viime syksynä edustajistoon haki tuolloin liiketaloutta toisella vuosikurssilla opiskeleva Risto Järvinen. Hän oli aktiivisesti mukana HAMKOn toiminnassa, eikä pelännyt ottaa kantaa edustajiston kokouksissa. ”Tapasin edustajistossa paljon uusia ihmisiä, pääsin vaikuttamaan omalla tavallani opiskeluihin ja sain viettää aikaa yhdessä muiden samanhenkisten nuorten kanssa. Voin lämpimästi suositella edustajistoa kenelle tahansa opiskelijalle koulutusohjelmasta riippumatta”, Risto toteaa.

Ehdolle asettuminen edustajiston vaaliin alkoi maanantaina 8.9.2014 klo 12:00 ja päättyy maanantaina 6.10.2014 klo 16.00.

Why should you apply for the Council of representatives?

As a member of Council of representative you are able to effect to your own studies and to the political decisions of the Student Union. It offers you to get to know other students, hang out with them and create relationships outside the Student Union. Most of all the purpose of the Council of representatives is to keep an eye on students’ assets. That is the reason why it is important to have students with different backgrounds to the decision-making.

The delegates to HAMKOs Council of representatives are elected through election. They are held during the autumn. Last year a student from business economics, Risto Järvinen, applied for a place as a representative. He was active with HAMKOs actions and was not afraid to speak out during the meetings held with the Council of representatives. “I met a lot of new people at the Council of representatives and I was able to speak out as I wanted concerning the studies. I hang out with the congenial young people and I can warmly recommend the Council of representatives to everybody regardless of your degree program”, Risto points out.

Standing for election in Council of Representatives election began on Monday 8.9.2014 at 12:00 and ends on Monday 6.10.2014 at 16:00.
